CHICAGO , IL --- The RJA Group, Inc. is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors named George Toth to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). In his new position, Toth will report to Martin Reiss, P.E., FSFPE, current President and CEO. They will work together to guide the company toward being recognized as the leading specialty consultant to the built environment worldwide.

A 1977 graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Toth has spent his entire career in the fire protection profession. He started in field operations with the Pyrotronics Company (now Siemens), a fire detection and alarm systems manufacturer. In 1983, Toth joined RJA as the Marketing Manager and over the next 25 years, he successfully took on roles of increasing leadership responsibility in construction management, knowledge transfer, business development, mentoring, human resources, information technology and security/media technology services. Toth also serves as President of SAKO & Associates, Inc., the security and media technology subsidiary of The RJA Group.

Mr. Toth, who is based in The RJA Group's Chicago headquarters, is dedicated to furthering the practice and curriculum of fire protection and life safety consulting. He sits on an advisory board for Worchester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), and is a member of key industry organizations, including, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), ASIS International and the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS).
